ClickTribe comments are a great way to engage with your audience and create a sense of community on your website. With ClickTribe comment replies, you can take your commenting system to the next level by allowing users to reply directly to other comments. In this tutorial, we'll show you how to use ClickTribe comment replies.

Step 1: Enable nested comments

The first step to using ClickTribe comment replies is to enable nested comments. Nested comments allow users to reply directly to other comments, creating a threaded conversation. To enable nested comments, go to your ClickTribe dashboard and click on Settings > Discussion. Under the "Other comment settings" section, check the box next to "Enable threaded (nested) comments." You can then choose the number of levels deep you want your nested comments to go.

Step 2: Use threaded comment view

Once you've enabled nested comments, you'll want to make sure your comment section is set to display threaded comments. To do this, go to the page or post where you want to enable threaded comments and click on the "Screen Options" tab in the top right corner of the screen. Check the box next to "Threaded (nested) comments" and then scroll down to the "Discussion" section.

In the "Discussion" section, make sure the "Enable comments" box is checked and the "Comment threading" option is set to "Threaded (nested) comments." You can also choose to display the newest or oldest comments first, and set the number of comments per page.

Step 3: Reply to a comment

Now that you've enabled nested comments and set your comment section to display threaded comments, you can start using ClickTribe comment replies. To reply to a comment, simply click the "Reply" button underneath the comment you want to reply to.

A new comment box will appear below the comment you're replying to. Type your reply into the comment box and click "Submit Comment" when you're done. Your reply will now be displayed underneath the comment you replied to, indented to the right to show that it's a reply.

Step 4: Manage comment replies

As the site owner, you can manage comment replies by moderating them, editing them, or deleting them. To do this, go to the page or post with the comment section you want to moderate and click on the "Comments" tab.

You can approve, edit, or delete individual comments or comment threads. You can also set up comment notifications so that you're notified when someone leaves a comment or reply on your website.

Congratulations, you now know how to use ClickTribe comment replies to create threaded conversations and engage with your audience!
