How to Add a Menu to Your Website
Learn how to add your menu to your website, including how to display it in the header, footer, sidebar, or other areas of your website.

- Create your menu: Go to Appearance > Menus in your ClickTribe dashboard. If you haven't already, create a new menu by clicking the "create a new menu" link. Give your menu a name and click the "Create Menu" button.
- Add menu items: Using the panel on the left side of the page, add items to your menu by selecting pages, posts, categories, or custom links. Click the "Add to Menu" button to add the item to your menu.
- Arrange menu items: Drag and drop the menu items to arrange them in the order you want. Indent and drag items to create sub-menu items or drop-down menus.
- Choose menu location: Scroll down to the "Menu Settings" section at the bottom of the page. Check the box next to the menu location where you want your menu to appear, such as "Primary Menu," "Footer Menu," or a custom menu location.
- Save menu: Click the "Save Menu" button to save your changes.
- Add menu to website: Depending on where you want your menu to appear, you'll need to add the menu to the appropriate area of your website. Here are some common ways to do this:
- To add the menu to your header: Go to Appearance > Customize. Click on the "Header" section and select "Menu" from the options. Choose the menu you want to display and click "Publish" to save your changes.
- To add the menu to your footer: Go to Appearance > Widgets. Drag the "Navigation Menu" widget to the "Footer" widget area. Choose the menu you want to display and click "Save" to save your changes.
- To add the menu to your sidebar: Go to Appearance > Widgets. Drag the "Navigation Menu" widget to the "Sidebar" widget area. Choose the menu you want to display and click "Save" to save your changes.
That's it! Your ClickTribe menu should now be visible on your website.
