Getting Started with Tutor LMS

This tutorial covers the basics of Tutor LMS and walks you through the process of setting up your online courses.

Step 1: Set up your Course Categories

  1. Click on the "Courses" menu on the left-hand side of your ClickTribe dashboard.
  2. Click on "Course Categories" to create the categories in which you want to organize your courses.
  3. Click on "Add New Category" and enter the name of the category.
  4. You can also add a description and a thumbnail for the category.
  5. Once you're done, click on "Add New Category" to save your changes.


Step 2: Create a Course

  1. Click on "Courses" again and select "All Courses".
  2. Click on "Add New" to create a new course.
  3. Give your course a title and add a description for it.
  4. You can also add a featured image for your course.
  5. Under "Course Settings", you can configure settings such as course duration, difficulty level, prerequisites, etc.
  6. Under "Course Curriculum", you can add course sections and lessons.
  7. Once you're done, click on "Publish" to save your course.


Step 3: Create a Lesson

  1. Click on "Lessons" from the ClickTribe dashboard menu.
  2. Click on "Add New" to create a new lesson.
  3. Give your lesson a title and add content to it.
  4. Under "Lesson Settings", you can configure settings such as lesson duration and quiz settings.
  5. Once you're done, click on "Publish" to save your lesson.


Step 4: Create a Quiz

  1. Click on "Quizzes" from the ClickTribe dashboard menu.
  2. Click on "Add New" to create a new quiz.
  3. Give your quiz a title and add questions to it.
  4. You can also add multiple choice, true/false, or open-ended questions to your quiz.
  5. Under "Quiz Settings", you can configure settings such as passing grade, duration, etc.
  6. Once you're done, click on "Publish" to save your quiz.


Step 5: Assign Lessons and Quizzes to Courses

  1. Go back to the course you created in Step 3 and click on "Course Curriculum".
  2. Click on "Add Section" to create a new section for your course.
  3. Give your section a title and add the lessons and quizzes you want to include in that section.
  4. You can also reorder the lessons and quizzes by dragging and dropping them.
  5. Once you're done, click on "Update" to save your changes.


Step 6: Configure Course Settings

  1. From the ClickTribe dashboard, click on "Courses" and select "All Courses".
  2. Click on the course you want to configure.
  3. Under "Course Settings", you can configure settings such as course enrollment, pricing, and course progress tracking.
  4. Once you're done, click on "Update" to save your changes.

That's it! You've now set up your online course using Tutor LMS. Of course, there are many more features and settings you can explore to customize your course to your liking, but this should give you a good starting point. Good luck with your course!
