How to Use Privacy Settings

In ClickTribe, you have several options to control the privacy of your website. You can decide what information is visible to search engines, restrict access to certain pages, and more. In this tutorial, we'll show you how to use ClickTribe privacy settings to keep your website secure and private.

Step 1: Access the Privacy Settings

To access the privacy settings in ClickTribe, you need to log in to your ClickTribe dashboard and navigate to Settings > Privacy.


Step 2: Choose Your Privacy Settings

Under the Privacy Settings page, you will see two options for site visibility:

  • Allow search engines to index this site
  • Discourage search engines from indexing this site

If you want your site to be visible to search engines, select the first option. If you want to hide your site from search engines, select the second option.


Step 3: Configure Additional Privacy Settings

ClickTribe also provides additional privacy settings that you can configure according to your requirements. To access these settings, go to Settings > Reading.

Under the Reading settings page, you will see the following options:

  • Your homepage displays: Choose whether you want to display your latest posts or a static page as your homepage.
  • Search Engine Visibility: If you don't want your site to be indexed by search engines, check this box.


Step 4: Save Your Changes

Once you have configured the privacy settings according to your requirements, click on the "Save Changes" button to save your settings.

By using ClickTribe's privacy settings, you can keep your website secure and private. You can choose whether or not to allow search engines to index your site and restrict access to certain pages.
